I just received and sent two separate messages from people that I went to elementary school with.
I don’t think people understand the power of social media, how it affects our communication and how it affects our relationships.
Social media, unlike many recent trends or forms of communication, doesn’t hinder human communication-it strengthens it.
Liking a picture on Facebook of someone you haven’t spoken to in years leads to a wall post, which could lead to a private message which then leads to an exchange of phone numbers and all of a sudden you’re at your nearest coffee shop catching up on the last 15 years since third grade.
I may be rambling my way into oblivion but in this moment, I’m beyond thankful for a Facebook page, a blog page and a twitter page. Connecting me to you and you to me, our communication is simply a click away.
